The Nifty Newt Nibbled on Nectarines

Well, I had finally achieved the smooth, flat background wash I was going for with this painting. And then I hated it. It was so boring! So I added a bunch of texture with shades of purple. It took a while to get it the way I wanted it, but I'm finally done.

I bring E & N to the printer today and then get started on J!

The Egyptian Elephant Enjoys Eggplants

The first of six paintings I need to do as quickly as possible. Eek! I'm still working on the background, as the green is a little too light in most places. I'm happy with this, though.
